This week’s featured project takes us to Utica, NY, where our team helped a homeowner make a major upgrade to the front of their house with a brand-new custom entry door. Their existing door had aged over the years, lacking both energy efficiency and curb appeal. They wanted a solution that would not only enhance the look of their home but also provide improved security and durability.
We installed a ProVia Legacy Single Entry Door built with a smooth steel design, offering unmatched strength and energy efficiency. The new door features Shaker embossing, a Toasted Coconut finish inside and out, and sleek satin nickel hardware for a clean, updated look. This door was custom-built to fit the home’s opening perfectly with a textured Snow Mist White aluminum frame cladding for added protection from the elements.
Bringing Style and Security to the Front of the Home
While the entry door was the centerpiece of this project, we also replaced a full set of outdated windows throughout the home. We installed multiple Premier Double Hung windows, custom-fit for each room, including bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen, dining room, and living room. These windows feature double-pane argon gas-filled glass for improved insulation and come with easy-to-use tilt-in sashes for effortless cleaning and ventilation.
The combination of a new entry door and energy-efficient windows has transformed the exterior appearance of the home while making it far more comfortable and secure. Together, these updates bring better curb appeal, increased property value, and long-lasting protection against the Central New York weather.
